STORAGE POLICY
How storage is counted
Storage measures the original files in your vault, nothing more.
Original files only
The files you add count toward storage. Reminders, people, categories and other details do not.
Kept versions count
When you replace a file, the previous version is kept, and it counts while it is kept.
Trash counts for 30 days
Deleted documents wait in the trash for 30 days and count until they are removed for good.
One pool for everyone
All members of one subscription share a single total. There is no separate allowance per person.

Questions about plans
How does shared storage work?
All members of one subscription share a single storage total: 1 GB on Essential or 5 GB on Pro. Each person’s files draw from the same pool.
Do previous versions count toward storage?
Yes. When you replace a file, DocDing keeps the previous version with the document. That original file counts toward storage while it is kept.
What happens to files in the trash?
Deleted documents stay in the trash for 30 days, so a mistake can be undone. They count toward storage until they are permanently removed.
Who counts as a member?
Members are the people who join your subscription with their own sign-in. The people and entities you file documents under, such as a child or a company, are not members and do not need an account.
Can we switch plans later?
Yes. Your documents stay where they are whichever plan you choose.
Where do I see the price?
Prices are shown in your app store, in your currency, before you confirm a purchase. Purchases, renewals and refunds follow that store’s terms.
