Delete your account. Your vault goes with it.

You can delete your DocDing account from the app at any time. If you cannot sign in, you can ask us by email.

Delete in the app

The fastest way is from the app, while you are signed in to your account.

  1. Sign inOpen DocDing on any device and sign in.
  2. Open SettingsSelect your profile picture to open Settings, then choose Account.
  3. Choose Delete accountRead what will be removed before you continue.
  4. ConfirmApprove permanent deletion of your account and vault.

What is removed

Your account, your vault and its documents, versions, dates, reminders, people and entities, and your AI connections.

If you own a household, transfer ownership to another member before you delete your account, so the household keeps its plan.

Request by email

If you cannot sign in, email privacy@docding.app from the address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm your identity.

Never include your password or recovery key in the email.

What happens next

Deletion cannot be undone. Because your vault is encrypted with keys you hold, nobody can restore it afterwards.

Some limited records, such as purchase records, are kept only where the law requires it, and only for as long as it requires.
