DocDing is a private document vault for families and households. It keeps identity papers, policies, contracts and certificates organized by the person they belong to, and it remembers the dates that matter.
WHY WE ARE BUILDING IT
Important documents should be easy to find and hard to expose.
Most households keep their most important papers in a drawer, an inbox and a photo roll at the same time. DocDing brings them into one place, encrypted on your device, with the people who need them and nobody else.
PRINCIPLES
What we hold ourselves to.
Private by design
Documents are encrypted on your device, you hold the recovery key, and DocDing staff cannot open your vault.
Calm by default
Dates arrive as clear countdowns and reminders. Suggestions wait for your confirmation instead of changing things quietly.
Access you control
The owner decides who joins and what each person can do. AI assistants, if you turn them on, can read your deadlines and propose reminders that you approve; they cannot change anything.

AI connections are off by default. If you turn them on, assistants can read only your deadline schedule, never your documents, and you are notified of every access.
